Aquarium Stocking (aquarium-stocking.com) is a free calculator site owned by Jeremy Panasuk, New Auburn, Wisconsin. It is built to collect as little information as possible.

Information we collect

The calculators run entirely in your browser. The values you enter (tank gallons, fish counts, room and target temperature, filter stocking level, and nitrate numbers) are not transmitted to or stored on a server. They exist only in that browser session. The site does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email, or a profile. The only email address on the site is jpanasuk@gmail.com, used if you choose to send a message.

Advertising

Pages do not load display-ad scripts. This site does not use Google AdSense.

Affiliate links

Some pages contain affiliate links to Amazon.com through the Amazon Associates program. Those links use the tag generatorsi0d-20. If you follow one and buy something, we earn from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links do not change the calculator math.

Analytics, cookies, and local scripts

This site does not run its own analytics and does not set tracking cookies.

Pages load assets/styles.css. The homepage and the guide and question pages load assets/app.js, which calculates in the browser and does not send what you type anywhere. The homepage also loads assets/monetization.js, which fills Amazon search links from the calculator result. Dismissing the Amazon bar on the homepage stores one flag, amzStickyDismissed, in sessionStorage for that tab. That flag is not sent to a server. The homepage and the topic map load assets/magnet-cta.js, which adds a link to the on-site tank recipe card and an outbound link to TikTok @3jsa7. TikTok loads only if you follow that link.
